Maria Nurmela

I am the daughter of a lumberjack/forester, a forest owner, a museum guide, and a forest therapy facilitator. I worked as a project employee at the Forestry Museum in 2018, and I have been involved with the museum’s activities before that and continue to be. In addition to traditional museum tours, I lead empowering nature experiences and heritage sessions on the museum grounds. I can do tours in either Finnish or English.

Marja Jalkanen

I always enjoy guiding tours at the Forestry Museum of Lapland. I am a forest manager and a certified tour guide. I have been working as a guide for many years.

In addition to Finnish, my guiding languages are French, English, and Swedish.
