Sandbergin eli "Samperin savotan" tavoitat myös nyt, kun käyt Lapin Metsämusoon liki Rovaniemen keskustan tienoon. Tulee tutuksi elo menneen polven metsien miesten. Tiesten kulkea luo salokorpien sulkea hongat mottiin. Kotiin vei aika vasta, kun puiden taika saanut määrämitan. Hinnan peri jätkät, keiden veri niin sakea juomanaan itse hedevesi kirpeän makea.
